Founded by Hans Viljoen on the farm Mahemskuil in 1921, Viljoenskroon is located in the heart of the Maize Triangle. This small farming community generates a deep sense of peace and well being, which inevitably makes you hang around a little longer while Viljoenskroon works it’s charm. The town is notable for it’s stud farming, and several huge grain silos make it one of South Africa’s biggest grain storage centres.
