Location: South Africa » Western Cape » Cape Town » Bloubergstrand

Seen across the bay, this popular resort town has one of the finest views of Table Mountain with Cape Town nestling in it’s lap. Originally a fishing village. Bloubergstrand was the scene of the 1806 battle which resulted in the second British occupation of the Cape Colony. Fishing in the area is good and the great rollers make it a popular venue for surfing, windsurfing and paddle-skiing.
